Refrigerated Trucks Notes in July 2024
2024-07-02 11:00:00
Refrigerated trucks are specially designed for transporting perishable goods and items with specific temperature requirements. When using a refrigerated truck, it is important to pay attention to the following issues:
- Keeping the Interior Clean
The interior of the truck must be kept clean and free of packaging paper and debris to avoid affecting the refrigeration effect. - Proper Stacking of Goods
Goods should be stacked on double-sided pallets, and should not be stacked in front of the evaporator outlet to ensure smooth airflow of the cold air. - Pre-cooling and Loading/Unloading of Goods
Pre-cooling or pre-heating of the truck compartment is necessary during loading, and it is strictly prohibited to directly stack goods on the floor.
Storage Considerations for Refrigerated Trucks
The insulated compartments of refrigerated trucks are generally single, dual, or triple compartments, allowing for flexible selection of different storage temperatures during transportation. Goods with different temperatures should not be stored in the same compartment and should be separated by partitions.
Refrigeration Principles and Current Market Development of Refrigerated Trucks
The refrigeration principle of refrigerated trucks involves the compression of low-pressure gaseous refrigerants by the air compressor in the refrigeration system. The compressed refrigerant vaporizes into high-pressure vapor, then flows to the condenser where it releases a large amount of heat during the condensation process, turning the refrigerant into a liquid state. The liquid refrigerant enters the evaporator through an expansion valve, where it undergoes a rapid pressure drop and evaporation process, absorbing a large amount of heat from the truck compartment and removing heat from the interior.
Current Market Development of Refrigerated Trucks
In China, existing refrigerated and fresh-keeping vehicles mostly use mechanical methods. The market growth has shown a linear increasing trend from 1995 to the present, with annual sales reaching over 6,000-7,000 vehicles.
